Pumpkin, who has her own home & family, started visiting me a few months after my beloved cats passed away. She always shows up when it's time for me to watch "The View" that I recorded earlier in the day. She especially loves Whoopi Goldberg!

I have always been a cat person, but when my two cats died 6 months apart (August 2023 and February 2024), I was too grief stricken to get a new one. A few months later, this cat, who has a collar & her own family, came into my house, made herself at home. Now, she visits me every day & night.

2 of 2: After weeks in the hospital, myriad prescriptions & procedures, a wound VAC, I have thousands of $ in expenses. The doctor, medical group & malpractice insurance co. refuse to reimburse me for them. They told me to sue them. That’s a whole other nightmare! I’m writing an essay about it all.
