Why care if the US Department of Education goes away? Because The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act mandates a free appropriate public education children with disabilities. Includes autism, wheelchair, blind, or deaf and so on. Education for all!

Why should you care about the US Department of Education? Because without federal funds to buoy local dollars, your taxes are going to go WAY up or quality of education and community success are going to go WAY down. You can’t have it both ways.

I find it insane that MAGA will hang their hat on transgender sports but say nothing about thousands of kids across our country being killed in school shootings. This is not about making America great, it’s about attacking people who scare you like mad dogs.
