It was catholic school. At least I didn’t get rapped knuckles.

Some teachers got it though. They would give me extra duties, like helping other students with reading. I loved to help, so it was perfect. I was like a working dog breed that just needed more to do. 😂

I had untreated ADHD through my entire schooling. If I had a strict teacher, they usually put me in the back of the room.

I had to stand in the circle of shame at recess. Literally stand still in a circle at recess.

That was traumatic enough. I can’t even imagine the trauma of a box.

I currently subscribe to Bon Appétit and I read lots of digital magazines through the Libby app.

I would read Mad Magazine with my shoes off at the grocery when I was 6 or 7. 😂

Readers Digest, Highlights, Missouri Conservation. My grandparents had all of their National Geographic.

I read ALL the fashion and fitness magazines as a YA. I spent lots of $$ to fit in.

And do I have some experts? Yes, but I’m greedy. I need more.

A teacher thought she caught me in elementary school because my mom signed with initials that day. I was forging signatures, but not that day!

The phone call to my mom didn’t go the way the teacher thought it would.

You have distinctive handwriting. Do either of your kids have similar handwriting?

I love my mom’s handwriting and did my best to imitate it when I was learning to write. I was pretty successful. I write in the same style with a sprinkle of ADHD chaos.

Oh no. I’m sorry. I hate when it’s one thing after another.

I switched to Google Fiber because of this. The extra $30 a month was worth the stability. Spectrum was down all the time.

I trained my dog with a bell on the door, and then she trained me with the same bell :(

Anytime she wanted something she rang the bell.

The bell did not last long.
