It's Christmas Eve, and Swan is feeling melancholy, but with a little help from his boyfriend, Ram, perhaps that evening can become one to remember.

Page 1 of the 4 part comic 'Swan & Ram: Ghost of Christmas Past'. Panel 1 states it's early evening on Christmas Eve, and the first four panels feature Swan, looking sad as he walks home in the cold, snow starting to fall around him. He looks through a lit window to see a family engaging in festive fun, including a British animated staple on the TV. In Panel 5 Swan turns the corner and looks surprised as he hears the voice of his boyfriend Ram say "Hey, hun!". In panel 6, which takes place outside Swan and Ram's sparsely decorated apartment complex, Swan says "Ram?! But I thought you were working late today?" to which Ram, now on-screen, replies "I was, but I decided to use the last of my leave to finish early, surprise!". In Panel 7, Ram continues to speak, saying "I know this time of year is hard for you, not being able to spend time with your family. I also know it's weird to spend Christmas Day with MY family", to which Swan interjects "Your mum does make good roast potatoes, though", to which Ram agrees with a "Sure does!" and then continues on, saying "But I still wanted to make sure we made time for us". In panel 8, Ram continues to talk, saying "Which is why I got us tickets to see the one Christmas movie you DON'T turn off immediately on the TV! For tonight!" to which a shocked Swan replies "Wait, you mean..." which Ram interjects with a "Yep!" In panels 9 and 10, we see Swan excitedly embrace Ram, saying "Oh! that's so cool! Thank you babe!", to which Ram replies "Mmf! My pleasure, hun", before sneakily sliding a present into Swan's messenger bag as he continues to embrace him. Page 2 of the 4 page comic Swan & Ram: Ghost of Christmas Past. In Panel 1, we see the silhouettes of Swan & Ram walking together down a town high street adorned with Christmas decorations and festive signage. It's starting to snow heavier now, and Ram says "Can you believe it's really snowing, on Christmas Eve?" to which Swan replies "It won't stick. Never does around here!". In panel 2, Swan and Ram wait in the lobby of a cinema, with a poster for 'Space Penguin: The Movie' starring Idris Elba displayed behind them as 'Coming Soon'. Swan says "Man, I can't wait for the bit where they die, hard!". In panel 3, Swan & Ram, now sans coats/scarfs etc, sit in a cinema watching a movie. Swan leans over to a unimpressed Ram and whispers "This is the part where they die hard". A familiar cartoon looks up, unimpressed, for the row in front. In Panels 4 and 5, Swan and Ram exit the cinema, with Swan saying "The best part is where they died hard! Man, I love Gremlins!" to which Ram replies "That old lady really eats shit, flying out the window" (Behind them is a loose interpretation of the Gremlins teaser poster). They then both look forward in shock, as Panel 6 reveals the snow has indeed stuck during the movie, and is now thickly coating the road and woody area in front of the cinema. Panel 7 sees Swan and Ram both look at each other in surprise and excitement at this. Page 3 of the 4 page comic Swan & Ram: Ghost of Christmas Past. In this page, we see Swan and Ram engage in a series of wintery fun activities in a snowy wood area (Adjacent to the cinema they were just in). The first panel shows them running through the snow, Swan shouting "WOOOOOOOO!!!" as Ram looks back at him with joy. The second panel sees Swan take cover behind a tree trunk as Ram throws a snowball at his way, which collides with the tree with a satisfying POMF. The third panel sees the two making a snowman together, with Ram kneeling beside the snowman and Swan coming over with additional snow supplies. In panels 4 and 5, we see the two making snow angels on the floor. When Ram gets up to look at it, he notices his horns have made an imprint on the thing, and comments "Hrmm...that's come out a little more Satanic than expected." Swan looks at it, impressed more than disappointed. Page 4 of the 4 page comic Swan & Ram: Ghost of Christmas Past. In Panel 1, Swan and Ram sit on a bench, admiring the wintery scene. Swan's Watch beeps, and he comments "Well, it's officially the 25th..." In Panel 2, Swan puts his hand on Ram's back and says "Merry Christmas, Ram" to which Ram replies "Merry Christmas, Swan". In Panel 3, Swan, his eyes slightly wet with tears, speaks about his melancholy. "You're right, you know. It's hard, being without my family this time of year. It never stops hurting, really, but Christmas is when I miss them the most. But on nights like this? Being with you? It feels like I have all the family I need". In Panel 4, Swan reaches into his bag to fetch a present for Ram, only to discover the present Ram previously stashed in there in Page 1. "Its not much but I got you...uh...wait, when did you sneak THAT in there?". In Panel 5, Ram, holding his scrappily wrapped gift whilst Swan holds his more neatly wrapped one, says "I MIGHT have taken my chance during a hug earlier. You may not be the only one in my life, but you're the best thing about it. I love you, Swan". Swan, although out of focus, is crying. In panel 6, the two open the gifts. Ram gets Swan a book called 'Haunted Hot-Spots of the South-West' by 'Prof A. Quack'. He says "All the folks in the Discord group said this was the best book on all things spooky!" to which Swan replies "Oh hell yes! Thank you!". Ram's gift is a tan brown/orange bum bug, to which he says "Uhh...a bum bag?". In panel 7, Swan, eyes still a little teary, grins and says "Because you're always BUMMED about not having a BAG to put all your cables and shit in!". Ram looks amused, and responds "Oh my GOD, you're so corny. But it's perfect, thank you babe" In the final panel, the two walk off, holding hands. Ram says "C'mon, lets go home. My butt is freezing cold after sitting on that bench for too long" Swan replies "I can think of some ways to warm it up" to which Ram replies "Swan...". THE END.

Most of my gifts for family are ready and I look forward to giving things a lot more than receiving them; I got really creative this year and got multiple things for everyone. Been gifting stuff to some friends lately too. Just in a pretty festive mood, I suppose.

The visuals and music were of course both excellent as well, as were the overall performances. This game won a lot of awards and I genuinely believe that it deserves them.

I beat Clair Obscur: Expedition 33; things got really intense and I thoroughly enjoyed the overall game. My only notable criticism is that some late areas went on for a lot longer than I would have liked, but the combat and customization are excellent, and the story went in a satisfying direction.

Been having a depressing last few nights where I haven't done anything, but I'm going to reset my sleep schedule starting this weekend and also try to enjoy my deserved break from work. Got a few fun and festive events with friends and family that I'll be attending in the next few weeks as well.

Dead by Daylight is a dumb and broken game for fools like me: I was cheated because of a niche mechanic that's never explained anywhere in any tutorials. On the plus side though, there are funny snowmen in it now, so Merry Christmas, I guess. #DeadByDaylight

That's actually fine. Duck eggs work in eggnog. That's not your problem. Goose fat instead of milk? Goose fat is a solid cooking fat for roasting potatoes. Milk is a liquid dairy product. They are not interchangeable You essentially made hot melted goose fat with duck eggs. Of course it was terrible. Bottom line: If you fundamentally change the structure of a recipe by using completely different ingredients with entirely different properties, you're not making eggnog. You're conducting a failed science experiment. Make it again with actual dairy and report back.

I have fallen tempted to the classic temptation to backtrack and further explore older areas in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 even when I don't have to; there's a lot of that potential content available for fools like me who are going to take forever to first beat this game properly.

The sheer amount of things to factor in while regularly customizing in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is quite satisfying to me, even if it means that I'll probably end up spending way too much time in the menus.

Started playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 after being tempted by The Game Awards and I can already see why this won so many different awards; it's an absolutely gorgeous game, the story intrigues me, and the combat is quite satisfying so far as well.
