I sat in philosophy talk recently where the speaker spoke about atomism vs holism and how they are employed in analyzing oppression.

I left wondering how identity membership [assumed, recognized and/or actual] may limit the ability to apply holism effectively across contextual planes.

As reclusive as I prefer to be, I’ve started going to in-person tech events again.

Networking is a fascinating experience when you’re no longer a junior and lead a business unit. I now understand why executive tickets exist.
