This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

I hate the “he’s such a nice guy” response to something like the Senator Alex Padilla situation, because someone shouldn’t have to be a nice guy to not be treated the way he was.
But I do want to say, as someone who has known him since 2009, he is one of the most decent and kind people I know.
