Folks on Bluesky who use RStudio - I have a student who for has had no issue using it for the past few months but all of a sudden RStudio has been crashing basically everytime after immediately opening and doing anything in RStudio (clicking a button, running code). Has this happened to anyone else?

One of the hardest pieces of research I've ever worked on, as it's mostly conceptual and not empirical. This project has been in my brain for many years now, but I certainly couldn't have done it without Awais and Xun. We'll see what folks think of it!

Seems like such a small win in the context of everything going on, but my awesome PhD students and I just submitted a paper proposing a reorientation of schools towards developing justice-oriented youth.

an RA task I once had as a doc student was to create a longitudinal data set of colleges/universities starting in mid1900s and to create unique identifiers to create consistent linkages over time... it was humbling, but I did learn a lot about the history of higher ed through those grapevine reports
