The thing I am thinking about is Trump’s team continuing to rewrite what all of America saw with their own two eyes. Trump seems to be confident about winning the midterms and I am wondering why.

We're presently in an increasingly authoritarian state. Trump and his minions are fascists and would love to turn the US into a fascist state, and they're trying hard to achieve that, but we're not there yet. Voting is *still* the most effective way to stop this. People need to show up in November.

I fear this is why Dems will continue to lose. We have a toxic purity test that labels as traitor any Dem who reaches out to the middle, nor can welcome new folks who were formerly in the middle/right. We seem to forget that we lost, and we'll lose again, if we don't adjust our thinking/action.

The Koch brothers have 2 refinery’s off Texas coast that refine heavy crude oil. I saw something on FB that said since the pipeline failed they aren’t getting heavy Canadian crude. The Kochs need to pay for Venezuela clusterfuck.

Does ‘trade surplus’ mean you have more stuff but less money or you have less stuff but more money?

Didn’t the Venezuelan people elect a President in a free election that was never allowed to take office? Why wouldn’t he be their President?

Isn’t Trump the one that negotiated the peace deal and the withdrawal date of troops with the Taliban?
