Remember: The oligarchs who control our economy and democracy seek to divide us so they can become more powerful.

They want us to turn on each other so we don't look up and see where all the wealth and power have gone.

Don't fall for it.

I cast a spell where whenever someone talks about me behind my back I get all their luck. Someone must be talking mad shit because I went shopping at a thrift store during the week before my period for jeans and found two pairs that fit perfectly and didn’t cry once

I’ve never lived in NYC nor do I ever plan to. But learning that @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social won is the closest I’ve come to having hope all year.

When I was a teenager my mom and I were on SNAP after she divorced my dad. We both worked and still couldn’t make ends meet. I did a lot of the grocery shopping by myself and I felt so much shame because I mistakenly believed my mom had “failed”. 🧵 #snap #govermentshutdown

Just a guess but the same people who say “mass surveillance is fine. If you’re not doing anything wrong then you have nothing to worry about” are probs the same justifying ICE wearing masks. Accountability for thee but not for me.

The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion, after getting $1.2 trillion richer over the past year alone.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country is getting squeezed by tariffs and high prices for groceries, utilities, and health care.

The system is broken.

If I had to write a play about what it’s like to work with anyone above the age of 50 this would be the one and only scene:
🧑🏻“Why did you miss our meeting today?”
👵🏻“I thought you were coming in person”
🧑🏻“…you sent me a google meet link in the invitation. Why would I be in person??”

What’s a moment when you realized you and someone else don’t read the same news sources?

My gender is wanting anyone, regardless of their gender, to look at me and think to themselves “am I… gay?”

And we still have to go to work and pay taxes? What BS.

This is what the elite want. They want the violence towards each other to distract us from the monopolies being formed. From the consolidation of power. This energy should instead be focused on THEM. They are stoking this fire. We have the power to put it out.

Someone should register a new religion and call it antifa

Where was this energy from the right when Alex Jones called Sandy Hook a hoax? #kimmel

This has the potential to be worse than the red scare
I assume this is obvious, but I’ll say it anyway:

The advantage of proscribing a non-existent organisation is that no one can prove they don’t belong to it.

“What? You wanted to just… wake up and be able to get out of bed? And just walk around? NOT in debilitating pain?? Bitch please you’re in your thirties now” - my back

Of course the charges were dropped. Because otherwise they’d have to charge their guy for the same thing.

“Hi how ya doing?” “Oh not bad for an old man who doesn’t give a SHIT” - our dry wall guy. Oh to be that unbothered in these trying times

In a work meeting today I said that an organization that relies on the labor of unpaid volunteers to survive needs to reevaluate its business plan. And then my ED got offended claiming we don’t do that… Right after saying we need to get more volunteers to reduce staff burnout and overtime. 🤨

People missing an important point about folks getting fired for whatever they said about Charlie Kirk: Americans are being conditioned to be snitches on their fellow citizens who don’t toe a party line on what is “allowed” to be expressed. And employers are going along. It’s the new secret police

surely we can come up with something better for 7 billion people than being lorded over by a bunch of plundering elderly murder and torture enthusiasts who whisper to each other about printing spare organs so they can immiserate others in perpetuity

Taking photos and video of law enforcement officers performing their duties in public is our constitutional right.

This includes police, FBI, National Guard troops, ICE agents, and other government officials.
