I believe some buildings go up to 7 or 8 stories. As I recall from the meetings, any higher and you get into steel frame construction and it gets a lot more expensive.

Makes me wonder about different driving patterns for elderly drivers. e.g. do older drivers drive less on the freeway and more on local streets? Do they drive less at night and more during the day?

The overall stats may not tell the whole story.

I did year-round public school from K-6 and it was great. 9 weeks on, 3 weeks off, with school day daycare (Intersession) during the 3 weeks off. I don't know if the teachers liked it, but it has a lot to recommend it.

That said, if it's being implemented by Vivek F. Ramaswamy, no thank you.

Yeah, I encountered the "stop sign fatigue" argument a couple years ago at a Transportation/Infra Commission meeting. It's infuriating.

Fortunately, the traffic engineer in question was evidently overruled because a stop sign did in fact go in at the intersection in question not long after.
