I hear from constituents like Christine all the time — utility bills are too damn high!

Democrats have a plan to lower energy bills and hold utility companies accountable for rate hikes. It's time for Republicans to work with us. Enough is enough.

Early childhood education lays the groundwork for lifelong success. I visited Mosaic Pre-K Center in Corona where I met with education leaders to discuss how the school’s hands-on learning environment is helping young students build that foundation right here in our community. (1/2)

Tonight my colleagues and I stood together to commemorate five years since the January 6th attack on our United States Capitol. On that day I was barricaded in a room off the House floor as an angry mob marched right outside my door. (1/4)

Photos I took as I barricaded myself in the Capitol five years ago on January 6th.

I will never forget the self-made barricade & gas mask as I heard rioters chanting "USA, USA" right outside the door.

Democracy is fragile & we must do everything we can to protect it.

I met with Aissatou Diallo, a constituent from Corona, who was recently detained by ICE while boarding a flight—despite breaking no laws. The way she was treated was unacceptable, and her experience reflects what far too many immigrants in our community have faced this year.
