This is entirely consistent with what the civil servant who oversaw the drafting of the Equalities Act 2010 has said about the premise of that legislation.

The Supreme Court was very dismissive about the explanatory notes as indicating what Parliament intended.
But the Judges seem entirely unaware of the speech of the Minister introducing the Bill, who made it perfectly clear that it was intended to extend the protections beyond biological sex.

I don’t use CDs anymore but my mum does so for the last 10-15 years she has essentially been given a physical copy of my music collection so that i can support artists without acquiring stuff I don’t have space for (sorry mum)

Was going to reply that like many others, the HRT misinfo soured my feelings on and eroded my trust in SciShow. While I'm pleased to see a retraction of that video, it feels a little weird that it took this long and only happened the day before pushing for donations.
