The Supreme Court was very dismissive about the explanatory notes as indicating what Parliament intended.
But the Judges seem entirely unaware of the speech of the Minister introducing the Bill, who made it perfectly clear that it was intended to extend the protections beyond biological sex.

Was going to reply that like many others, the HRT misinfo soured my feelings on and eroded my trust in SciShow. While I'm pleased to see a retraction of that video, it feels a little weird that it took this long and only happened the day before pushing for donations.

(Nearly) five years on from the start of the mayhem, some of the lessons of the pandemic have inevitably been forgotten. The importance of catering for disabled and vulnerable people is one that really, really shouldn’t be.
Remember when the pandemic began and everyone started accommodating remote work? Everyone began showing brand new movies and live concerts streaming? Disabled people had been fighting for this for decades. Now it’s all taken away. It’s not that they can’t accommodate us, they just don’t want to.
