Good news coming out of Eritrea, 7 prisoners of conscience who have been held incomunicado & without any charges for over 18 years were released today. 1 of the prisoners released today was Zeregabir, who was a renowned Eritrean/Ethiopian cyclist and a big business man. Zeregabir was my neighbor.

For all the crimes he commited against thousands of refugees and migrants, 20 years feels nothing. At the same time hopefully the victims will have some sorts of closure and an end to their trauma caused by him.
