According to Eritrean activist and journalist Yosief Gebrehiwet’s Facebook post, 13 prisoners have been released that he knows of so far.

Glad his wife Azeb is alive to welcome him home and hopefully he gets to meet his children who have built a big empire in his name all over Africa. Hoping for more good news like this to thousands of Eritrean families of our prisoners of conscience, who are still waiting to see loved ones released.

I wonder how he looks and how he will feel to see everything after spending many years in one of the worst prison conditions in the world. It's a great news and at the same time to find out many of those his age & friends are neither alive nor in the country. It's good that he came out alive. ❤️
