Yeah pleasantly surprised by this. And it could be more than small. If the feds now crank down on Indiana it would be a really bad look and would be campaign fodder for the pro-democracy coalition.

That’s exactly how I felt leaving Texas. Kentucky has a ton of ignorant bigots, but at least Kentuckians had the sense to elect a Democratic governor after that abusive fool they elected before him. For me, though, Andy is the complete polar opposite to that arrogant abuser Abbott.

If Indianans don’t like being threatened they can simply vote democrat up and down the ballot then the maps won’t matter. The power is still with the people if we can hold on to it. I trust the democrats will right the ship and draw fair maps.

I know the chances of that happening are laughably slim, but still, like most of this administration's bullshit, it all falls back to Congress' long-standing policy of ceding power to the executive rather than serving as a check.

SCOTUS didn't give Trump cover for this type of activity. This isn't part of the President's official duties. If this is coming from any public official then this is a crime. Of course this DoJ won't prosecute.
