ICE is no longer arresting immigrants only. They are arresting anyone who films or speaks out. Sending them to concentration camps. I have been criticized for my analogy to 1930’s Germany. That is what we are witnessing.

January 6 was a violent attack on the heart of our democracy that was incited by Trump and enabled by Republican leaders.

Five years later, Speaker Johnson and the GOP still excuse the lies and violence that fueled it.

We won't forget. We won't be silent. And we won't let them rewrite history.
Five years ago today, the United States Capitol was attacked in a violent insurrection incited by the President of the United States for one purpose: to overturn a free and fair election and cling to power in clear violation of the Constitution.

The January 6th insurrection as well as September 11th are the two most significant acts of domestic as well as foreign terrorism perpetrated on American people in modern history. 🗽

There is a third path. When someone doesn't cast a vote they support whatever candidate wins. Those who didn't participate in the election contributed to putting the person in office.
I need people to understand that saying, "I don't like or support this politician, but the other person will be worse, so I'll vote for them," is precisely how we ended up with fascism.

If you're not voting affirmatively for something you actually want, you don't live in a democracy.

I worked at KenCen for a couple of seasons. Theatre seasons’ budgets are notoriously tight. 2026 budget has already been irreparably damaged for the foreseeable future. Perhaps a few artists won’t mind, but many will be looking at their audience & saying: NOPE. Not worth ruining my reputation over.

lot of people have asked why Fred doesn't go in through the window but i think it's pretty obviously related to whatever fight he's very clearly been having with Wilma that's also why she's just sitting there in this like 100 square foot house pretending not to hear him

The USA is in serious trouble if wind turbine and news paper article are nation security threats. How is the security of the USA so fragile that an article in the NYT represents a 'threat'?
Since his dime store lawyers suggested he could get away with more authoritarian stuff under the guise of “National Security”, anything he doesn’t like is labeled a threat to national security.

Absolutely! As Asimov warned, "The saddest aspect of life right now is that science gathers knowledge faster than society gathers wisdom." 🤖 Are we ready for this tech? 🪐📚 #SciFi #Future
So few people heed the warnings from science fiction writers who have given the idea of mixing humans and robots a lot of thought. There are too many paths that end poorly for humans.
