Since he was a toddler, my son (he’s now 11) has understood about LGBTQ. We explained it to him in kid-appropriate language he could understand.

I walked aboard the replica of the bus Rosa Parks sat in at the National Civil Rights Museum in 2021. It was a surreal experience to be in the presence of living history like that.
Rosa Parks’ arrest today 1955 was reported by Montgomery (Alabama) Advertiser in tiny article at bottom of page nine—“Negro Jailed Here for ‘Overlooking’ Bus Segregation”:
