As much as it shocks me that the DC glee for DOGE [sic] ignores what Musk did to Xitter, it shocks me still more that Sacks' role in the destruction AND govt bailout of Silicon Valley Bank has gotten little focus.

Very recent history of these men demonstrate them to be utter charlatans.

In general he thinks land acquisition solidifies you as a Great Man of History. Greenland stuff is because it looks big on maps, Canada because he sees the reaction among anglo Canadians and likes owning the libs, Panama after listening to Elbridge Colby too much and having delusions of Rooseveltism
My two cents on this is that he’s talking about the Panama Canal, Greenland and Canada because he was briefed about the northern passage opening up, and he sees and opportunity to control global trade.

Speculation. But it’s the only thing that makes sense considering it all.

I've seen estimates that we could put every homeless person in the US in stable housing for about $20 billion. Elon Musk could single handedly fund that himself and still have about $320 billion left to pursue his hobbies like buying the Presidency of the US.

This is one of the main points to understand about the case against preemptive pardons: many people for whom they are intended do not want one.
I say that, actually, as someone who may very well be on his hit list. After all, he owes E. Jean Carroll $88.3 million in no small part because of me.

I’d rather fight than take a pardon. But I do understand why others may vehemently disagree, and I don’t take offense at their harsh replies.
You say that as if you aren’t on his hit list.

2 things:

1. Who is the lone R? They should be celebrated and called out in a positive way! Even if their reasoning is not sound.

2. Who are the Ds who didn’t vote? Were they able to? If they were and didn’t… why?
