My wrap up for 2024. Might sneak a couple of games in there on New Years Day, but this is likely it.
A LOT has changed for me this year in regard to board games. I have shifted from upper middle weight Euros to mostly smaller card and quicker games.

I hope to raise a tiny human that's my superior in every way. Smarter, happier, healthier... But it makes me feel a good kind of way that it brings him so much joy to steal my hat, and even more to adjust it so it fits him makes him so happy.

Our November plays. We struggled to get stuff to the table until I proposed a folding table in the nursery so our son could play while we do. I have good ideas some times.

So I played 12 Chip Trick and I don't want to rush anything but... My top board games of all time list might have been irrevocably changed. This game is just that friggin' good.

My partner and I are working hard to consolidate our collection down because it's start to feel unwieldy again. And I love the fact that 17 games could turn into 4 and an expansion.

Most likely the last game of the year. The Fox Experiment. I know we definitely played parts wrong, but rolling a ton of dice is just fun.

It's been a minute since I posted here, been a little on the busy side, but we did get Meadow to the table tonight! If there is a game that can supplant Scythe as my favorite game, it could be Meadow.
