The Manhattan DA's office is overcharging to make a point. One might even say to "intimidate or coerce a civilian population."

Following thought is my opinion and my opinion alone:

Luigi Mangione is now having a terrorism charge added to his list of charges. Who exactly did he terrorize? CEO's?

Personally? Charging him with terrorism seems to be a statement

"If any of you kill our beloved CEO's, you will be a terrorist"
