Continuing my catch up with the year, in June I'd ramp up my dessert making further and congruent the trend of baking for birthdays. I would end up making an ube cake for my sister, and a tiramisu for one of my nephews. The pavlova would be for father's day.

After my first successful batch of macarons in January, I would try again in April, this time with a kitchen scale. My attempts were all unsuccessful, the only real presentable ones were this last batch when I learned what was wrong. Banana flavored
