Shame on you @bsky.app for protecting a transphobic billionaire over trans people. No different than X.

Competing pro-/anti-Commanders stadium forces, an hour before the first of two hearings for public testimony on the proposed $3.7B RFK site project at the D.C. City Council. Pro-stadium is chanting “RFK, now or never;” anti-stadium chants “make it (the deal) better.”

My Congressman, Jamie Raskin this morning in front of NOAA: “When you have popular resistance mixed with a legislative strategy you have a 2/3 chance of stopping a coup”

Seeing so many folks in front of NOAA this morning rallying to save its critical and lifesaving work.

This morning on the hill with FreeDC and @SierraDC advocating for a NO vote on a continuing resolution that would take $1Billion local DC dollars and would mean immediate cuts in education and public safety.

@raskin.house.gov @alsobrooks.senate.gov and @vanhollen.senate.gov please vote no!

Also, my fellow cis queers- these attacks on the trans community affects us too. We need to stand up for trans rights just as firmly as we stand for our own. The same people trying to ban trans people out of public life will go for us next.

If anyone is still unclear why the trans community is scared right now, this is why. This is the Republican/Trump master plan, to criminalize trans people out of existence.

Its not just about minors, or about sports, its about erasing trans people.

Dem leadership four years ago when we had control of Gov: “We cant do anything, the republicans are blocking”

Dems now: “they have the power, its out of our hands”

There is reason people are angry at dem leaders. They need to use what power they do have

Unelected billionaires without a security clearance should not have access to classified information, or the governments payment system. Period.

And especially when this unelected billionaire has a million conflicts of interest with his companies.

People’s March in DC this morning.

I am scared, but at least I am in community with folks ready to resist the threats & destruction to our communities, democracy & planet over the next four years. Organizing together (and especially locally) is the only hope we have.
