I find it interesting to live in a major city where the mayor has somehow managed to make himself less popular than Donald Trump---so he is unable to use Donald Trump as a boogeyman when trying to make anything happen.

Is it just me or is this guy the epitome of what conservatives THINK a tough guy looks and act like. It's like they believe putting him on tv will sway people's thinking. Which seems....out of touch with reality.

This is the sort of cronyism that justifies a "both sides" look at things. Whoever Rep. Garcia endorsed was probably going to win....but why do this in a way that creates a coronation instead of an election?
