I had hoped I would not have to make this post but life doesn’t go how you want it. In October of 23 I was diagnosed with an acute form of leukemia. The Cleveland Clinic got me into remission for a short period of time but it was only 2 months at most. I needed a longer period

That "intellectual diversity" and "free speech" were trojan horses for right-wing power-grabs has been obvious from the start and I remain disappointed how many supposedly rational folks took bad-faith actors at their word.
“Intellectual diversity is essentially a fake problem that is used to create cover for ideologically committed, far-right faculty who are not intellectually honest.” Craig Campbell, UT anthropology professor.

Triple H comments on the Netflix buffering concerns for WWE Raw

“You start putting 60 million households all at once on a streaming service, if our first night buffers and they come and say there were 60-70 million households watching, I'll be good with the buffering.”

The point, I hope, isn't to create a perfect social media discourse. The point is to have a place to go where you can see posts by people you want to see posts from and not get yelled at by humans and robots alike.
Opinion - The problem with Bluesky: It won’t broaden our horizons: In the wake of Donald Trump’s election win, the social-media platform has enjoyed a surge of new users looking for an alternative to Elon Musk’s X. But will it be useful, if it just creates an echo chamber for the left?

Me: I am DONE with the Cleveland Browns. I hate this listless, poverty, humiliating excuse of a football team. I am DONE.

The difference between Bluesky and Threads is the difference between designing for what users want and designing for what The Shareholders think will make the stock price go up.
The more I use Bluesky, the more I realize the ways Threads fumbled the ball.

Threads’ biggest mistake: not grasping that conversation-centric social media is contemporaneous.

Everyone needs to see things at the same time so they can *engage with each other at the same time*.

There's nudity here. People make a living from sex work and art. If you don't like that, cool, there's a host of content filters in the options you can use to mitigate it. But, keep it to yourself. Announcing you feel morally superior, or harassing SW'ers isn't the look you think it is. Trust.
