If the ACA was affordable like democrats told us it would be, why are subsidies needed? And why did democrats vote a sundown clause on them in the first place?

Doesn't matter. Once liability is open to sue makers of a LEGAL product, other manufacturers will also be liable. You can't make one liable for 3rd party actions, & exempt others without it being found unconstutional. Do you really believe lawyers wouldn't take advantage of such law to make a buck?

Suinging gun makers/sellers by states like NY was never about liability or winning. The endless lawsuits before PLCAA were to bankrupt companies with legal fees.

Nothing will be affordable. Cars, knives, bats, pressure cookers. Or anything that can be misused for harm. Don't tell me that a lawyer won't go after companies with deep pockets.

My point is it will be impossible to make gun manufactures liable for misuse of their products without all other industries also liable for misuse. Once the door is open on being liable for the actions of 3rd party use, lawyers will use the past practice standard to make all makers of goods liable.

I'm OK with that. See if you can get democrats & Moms Demand Action to go for it.

It already is.

As an American gun owner, I can't imagine owning 4 guns. That's far too few.
December 21, 2025 at 6:04 AM
The majority of criminals who acquire a gun do it through illegal means, mostly by theft. Most straw purchasers are minority women buying a gun for a prohibited friend or spouse. Background checks beyond store purchases will not make a difference.

More people are killed with baseball bats or knives than rifles. If I own a baseball bat, hammer, or a steak knife, should I need to insure them? Should the maker of little league bats be liable? If this sounds absurd, think of what injury lawyers would do with this manufacture liability law.

Most homeowners' policies will already cover firearms for theft or accidents. No insurance company will cover criminal use of anything. Guns, cars, knives etc, so your point is moot.

If you don't like the 2nd Amendment, you have three choices:

1. Repeal the 2A, and collect all guns.
2. Leave the country for one that fits your beliefs.
3. Start a revolution.

Choices 1 & 3 will require you to have a gun. Ironic, isn't it.

5. Before declaring the embargo on Cuban goods imported into America, he had a private supply of Cuban cigars for himself.

If he had not been assinated, would history view him differently?

President Kennedy:
1. Had an endless number of women snuck into the White House for sex.
2. Assured the failure at the Bay of Pigs by canceling air support at the last minute.
3. Paid Cuba $53 million in supplies. ($973 million today)
4. Came closest to starting WW3 than any modern president.

3: YOU complain ICE is not targeting criminals, ICE issues detainers for criminals, & sanctuary cities ignore them, or worse, try to sneak them out of the courthouse, like the idiot judge just convicted, & order police not to notify ICE.

2: If you say "illegals commit fewer crimes than citizens", we have to deal with our own citizens. We should not have to keep criminals who are not citizens.

1: I asked AI to estimate the yearly number of violent crimes committed by illegal immigrants.

The answer was 20,000-65,000 yearly violent crimes. Even at the lower number, that is too many.

She directed Flores & his Attourney to leave through the jury door to a NON PUBLIC area. ICE then found him wandering the halls. (CBS news). Get your facts straight.
