New York must, absolutely must, fight fire with fire when it comes to redistricting.

I know it doesn’t feel great to descend into the muck with these guys.

But if we do not, we will have permanent, one-party control of Congress.

Massive amounts of dark money is distorting and destroying our democracy.

Elections should be decided by the people, not corporations.

That’s why I’ve introduced legislation to end corporate spending in elections:🧵

Proud to have worked on this important legislation with @manhattanda.bsky.social

Our bill takes aim at systemic tenant harassment, and gives prosecutors the tools they need to take action against the worst actors and give tenants the full protection of the law.
“No tenant should have to choose between living in uninhabitable conditions or being forced onto the street.” – D.A. Bragg. Read D.A. Bragg’s op-ed in City and State NY on how we can protect tenants from harassment through a recently introduced bill: www.cityandstateny.com/opinion/2025...
Opinion: Here’s how we can better protect New Yorkers from tenant harassment
Manhattan is facing a housing crisis, and a pending bill in the state Senate would help keep New Yorkers in their homes.

Great to join @uft.org to hear directly from educators about the triumphs and challenges in our schools.

And a heartfelt thank you to all NY teachers who continue to invest in and support students, including my three kids, across this state. You are superheroes!

Well, my Spotify wrapped gives it away: I LOVE theater (and clearly became addicted to Sunset Boulevard this year).

It’s probably the thing I love most about New York.

Representing Broadway in Congress would be an incredible honor.

Renewable power is vital to a growing economy and a cleaner environment.

My bill to accelerate investment in green power by providing tax certainty for solar & wind projects is now law.

Thank you @governor.ny.gov for signing the bill into law and @micahlasher.bsky.social for your partnership.

Governor Hochul just signed my legislation to unlock wind and solar projects in NY state!

The Trump Administration is doing everything they can to stop climate action. But New York's clean energy future can't wait. This bill will help us fight back.

Congressional Dems cannot just sit back & watch while Trump tries to destroy our democracy.

We need leaders who will use every tool possible to fight back.

I'm running for Congress in NY's 12th district with a plan to do just that.

The Senate is gearing up to vote to let ACA subsidies expire.

Millions of Americans are going to lose access to affordable healthcare.

Yet another reminder of why we need to pass Medicare for All and guarantee every American can afford the care they need.

The Trump Administration is trying to kill renewable energy projects everywhere they can.

In New York, we're fighting back.

My new legislation will incentivize wind and solar investments and fast-track New York's clean energy future.

New Yorkers will pay more for wind and solar if Hochul doesn’t sign property tax legislation in the coming days, the industry says.

We’re seeing fewer independent grocers, more food deserts, and less consumer choice. The Consumer Grocery Pricing Fairness Act aims to tackle issues of affordability and competition when it comes to groceries, and @prospect.org has the story: prospect.org/2025/11/21/n...

If Trump continues to violate court orders on SNAP, we should withhold payment of money owed to the federal government. My bill, the RECOURSE Act, would establish a process for New York to do this, but state and city officials could act without it, and they should.
