Not sure why this article is trying to drive a wedge between "buy Canadian" and "buy local", especially in Ottawa where local is by definition Canadian.

As far as Venezuela is concerned it is all about the oil, Trump figured out that the US did depend on Canada for something but could reduce that dependency by stealing it from another country without benefit to the Venezuelan people. Imperialism 101!

So he is likely the perfect person to piss off every resident of Greenland, just Trump's boy Pete is pissing off every Canadian, not to mention every Dutch the first go around.

Canadian dairy should immediately document on all product packaging "Antibiotic and Hormone Free", same as Organic and No-GMO labeling. That way everyone will know what is American dairy even when final processing happens in Canada, if they don't see that labeling.

The worst of it... WHY does the US need access to other markets?
Because they overproduce dairy by a metric-fuckton. They basically use socialism to subsidize the US dairy industry because even they can't use all the crappy milk they produce and if they can't dump in on foreigners, the gov pays.

His inability to adapt is a signal that more floor crossing is just a matter of time. While I would prefer a minority government that works with another party to get legislation past, having 4 years of a government of adults trying to make life better for Canadians isn't the worst thing to happen.
