Day 1: Across the Spider-Verse.

Technical masterpiece, great character work, impeccable production designs, killer cliffhanger, a ton of setup for movie #3. All building on an already wonderful predecessor. Across the Spider-Verse is the Back to the Future 2 of comic book adaptations. I love it.

Such a simple concept, with a brilliant execution by the late Mike Wieringo.

In the last few years, there have been moments where the depression was at its peak. Looking forward to this movie was one of the things that kept me going (besides my daughter and my partner, obviously). I don't need additional motivation these days, but it feels important to celebrate it.

Wait, suddenly all the "Nameless Horror King" books on my shelf have sprouted the name "Stephen" out of nowhere. How did you make that happen?
