what keeps getting me is how deeply considered the character is, his face is classic oval shape and angelically elevated cheeks that you could hang a Linda Evangelista face on with just a light wash of powder, yet Sami Landri is deliberately a Chiac monster who looks like she's soaked in kerosene

i am competent at the basic mechanics of cooking and can follow a recipe, but i struggle hugely with grocery planning and with improvising a meal. So the fact that i made a pretty functional and tasty dinner tonight is a Big Win

Just remembered when I was four years old and some of the Montreal Canadiens visited me in the hospital and brought me a gift, something which would probably have been very cool if I had been several years older and had a family that was at all interested in hockey
