The news itself I don't know what to say about. It's really ugly and horrific to see the state be so violent, with seemingly total impunity. I see a lot of hope in the ways people are resisting, but there's so much standing in our way.

Found myself today saying, sincerely, "oh, there's not really any windchill today, so at least the -23 degrees actually feels like -23 degrees". It's bad out here
