Like: good quality houses - by which I basically mean #Passivhaus homes - do you know anything else that provides fantastic comfort with really low cost to run?
Hate: twat Tories - and hope they will be gone soon, they have already done too much damage.
That's very good. I had 6.7MWh from 9.3kWp. However, due to planning restrictions I only have 10-15 degree slope, so my winter generation is almost nothing, and my export is limited to 8kW. Consumption 5.4MWh, including heat pump and EV.

Surreal but impressive!

Ho-ho, looks like the flag killed the drone. Such desperation.

It's possible there are 2.7m questions, but then the most common would be 'why don't you f**k off'. I am sure Russians are getting a bit fed up of the power cuts and night and flight disruptions.

And two nice fat fingers (in the European style) to Trump about his crappy deals.

On The contrary, Europe needs to decide for positive action against Russia. Ideally at least take steps against Russian incursions in Donetsk and Crimea with a goal of removing Russia from Ukraine. Anything else will be more costly in the long run to Europe,

His main career seems to be in dissolving companies. Then the active ones don't seem to run to millions in value or turnover exactly.
All points to an interesting character - perhaps to HMRC?

It's a fair bet that the Kushy Witless discussion has all been about whether they and Trump get 1bn or 2bn each from the Russians if they succeed in this stitchup. Every EU country, plus, UK, needs to go to UN to censure this action. Then they need to tell US that trade will cease if they do this.

Yep. I am in the process of selling a second house and I will pay CGT. This IS income, so the rate should be the same as my prevailing income tax rate, it's just weird really that there is also an allowance against CGT (though it has been reducing).

My bedtime reading, is a mega long post on Xitter from Estonia's former Intel chief.

@eeriknkross.bsky.social worked out the "DimWit" surrender plan contains 150% more violations than points drawn up by Dmitriev.. sorry, I mean the White House.. or maybe not!

Sorry it's too long to screenshot all

Trumpty Dumpty is again bullying Ukraine into surrender, according to Reuters.

Trump is a real threat to the world order, to peace for his people & all of Europe

To back genocidal war criminals over a democracy is against every single thing the US & its constitution stands for

I think this article neatly summarises just how little sense a lot of the 28 point proposal has. We will be waiting for a while for progress on it ... dum de dum ... da de da ...

The Witkoff-Dmitriev peace plan annotated
We now know a bit more about the process which led to the new peace plan and we now have a copy of its contents, to which I will turn soon.

I think UK should say to Trump, sure we'll agree with your Ukraine plan, but UK must have New York and New England states handed over... might tRUMP finally understand about sovereign and invasion?
November 20, 2025 at 8:29 PM
Trump is thinking no further than tea-time this evening, and today's overwhelming priority is to get Epstein off the news - and if Ukraine is sold down the river in the process he doesn't give a flying fuck.
It won't fly because it is still every bit as awful as his last useless attempt.

I feel physically sick. In one fell swoop, the Labour Government have legitimised the whole racist, right wing narrative. Bravo you bunch of clueless cowards👏

Hmm Macquirie, so unusual to hear that name where there are interesting dealings going on.

Putin has been at war with NATO for quite a while. The sooner NATO decides to strike back by taking out all the Russians in Ukraine, the sooner they will bugger off.

A delicious quote in an Independent article about this announcement: "Dr. Oz touted that by this time next year, they expect Americans to collectively lose 135 billion pounds." He should have added he expected Americans collectively to lose 135 trillion dollars.

The Russian port hit by Ukraine a few days ago has suspended fuel exports.

Tuapse has also had to stop processing crude after the drone attack.

⏰️tick-tock, tick-tock, Russia's in for a shock📉

This in insane. More affordable homes are what is needed. This also will NOT help achieve the 1.5m target because profit-led developments will still build out at a rate that suits developers for max profit.
Stop right to buy. Enforce at least 50% affordable homes everywhere.
