Hmm, why don't I believe you?

I honestly don't remember the last time I saw a book I actually wanted to read available in mass market format.

Okay, so I decided to try to turn this into a Wikipedia page. What do people think? Does it look okay? Is "Multimedia capabilities of Video Game Consoles" a reasonable title?

Ugh, making me spend a bunch of time creating a semi-plausible explanation for this to leave as a comment and then finding this incredible photo of an customized Akira pinball machine that totally gives some level of credence to my theory. : D

Years ago I read/extrapolated/made up the "90-9-1 Rule" for internet content.
90% of your audience will consume but never interact in any way
9% will upvote/like/repost
1% will comment/rate/review

Clearly, expecting 1% to rate or review something available for free was being wildly optimistic.

So, is this accurate?
Which video game systems can play which media formats.

We're planning on expanding our zine collection (hurray!) and are looking for wall-mounted display things. This is what we currently have, does anyone have suggestions for something similar? (Or something else that would work better for zines.)

Huh, that costume only lasted like eight issues.

I bet this cover awaked some things for some people.

Since I didn't see the actual art anywhere, here it is.

I don't know how much of this is Bechdel's own work ("I sort of copied it" is ambiguous), but I think think the front of the treadmill is badly drawn.

YouTube, why are you showing me a "most relevant" section in my subscriptions that is literally just duplicating things from my subscriptions?

A while ago someone in the Goth Library Staff Discord server asked how we'd gothify our bathrooms and I said "skull-shaped hand soap dispenser."
I only recently realized hat I had a giant glass skull with a screw cap lid that I could use for this, and so...

Number of "best selling titles" by decade with the average number of sales.

Like, you can't really do a fair comparison because
1. The numbers are inaccurate (like, it's whatever people on Wikipedia could bother putting there)
2. Older books have had longer to sell

Okay, so for the shownotes for Book Club for Masochists: A Readers' Advisory Podcast we used to link to Goodreads, but I've been trying to stop using Amazon stuff.
We moved to Storygraph, but I hate it's use of AI.
Do people care if we link to things? Maybe I'll just stop linking to anything.
