It did not feel like a sequel to Legacy, I also will note. But more of midquel a la Lion King 1 1/2. It's a stepping stone to a true Legacy sequel that could bring back Quorra and Sam Flynn.

I will note it is technically a Tron movie in name only, because there was no appearance by Tron. The other nitpick is the blink-and-you'll miss it appearance of Cameron Monaghan. All but his one brief appearance must have been cut from the final edit.
