Yep, this is quite a concerning read. I know as a sailor, if I got put into a infantry unit I wouldn't have the slightest idea of tactics, how to move, etc. just like I wouldn't expect a soldier to deal with a flood if put on a ship without training.

At this point, i feel UKR should just ditch completly the US. US is just making the war last longer now, and dealing with them for a trickle of Atacms and jdams is just not worth it.

EU and Ukraine needs to rip this plan up IN TRUMPS FACE, in the most public way possible. WE have had enough of apeasing Russia in these peace plans, over and over again. We need to make it as clear as possible we will no longer stand for this shit.

Can they not fund the amount that can be manufactured per year for Ukraine? As a example, out of the whole production, 10 airframes go to UKR per year over 10 years, so cover long lead items, and price of 10 jets this year, and next year repeat. Budget gets spread over longer period. Same for Gripen

Ukraine has said before they need about 200-250 fighters in an ideal world. So it would be in addition of Grippens.

yeah but its only like...2 airframes? They cant maintain round the clock surveilance with that many. For their entire 1000km+ border with russia, to spot drones and jets, you looking at probably 4-5 planes airborne at all times. Fleet would need to be like 12-14 planes.

In the future, Ukraine will have a Grippen and Rafale air force. F16s are already 30-40 years old. I wouldnt be surprised to hear about a Globaleye inclusion with Grippen buy, or even E-3 transfer as France phases theirs out (they already ordered Globaleye).

The carrier transiting from the Med, has entered Southcom area in the last few days. I understand it came out thru Gibraltar, but then spent a few days near Morroco, posibly in case it was needed near Nigeria?

This does not look like engine failure. Its either shoot down or structural failure. What we see in this video is the wings (attached to the center box) and something on the left (too small to be rest of the plane, probably a control surface)
