I am grateful for this snow. The old snow was so ugly. Kind of like what was happening to our neighbors. This feels like a fresh start. I know it's not over, but it feels less ugly at the moment.

My go-to response when any virtual resistant ask me what I want is "I want to talk to a human." Unfortunately that works against me because they just keep ask me what I want and my blood pressure keeps going higher and higher. 🤣

Does she keep a copy of the 504 with her? I found that that helped a lot because teachers often denied the accommodations simply because they "weren't aware", plus substitutes etc. might be harder for a little one to advocate for themselves in that way though. I hope it gets better for her soon.

I have one of those and you have to be very particular. Mine could wear headphones in class, eat lunch in a quiet hallway or room, was exempt from pep rallies, etc. Nice didn't factor in except to find the one guidance councelor who would help enforce the IEP. The teachers were mostly apathetic.

And I need to stop using cash apps too. Isn't nobody else in this world got to know that I pay Gary to shovel my snow. And he shouldn't be taxed for that!

Don't get me started on taxes! I hate that when I tip someone with a digital payment they are taxed on it. And I was raised that paying taxes was not necessarily a bad thing because it contributed to the greater good. But my fucking tax rate being more than Warren Buffett's just doesn't sit right.

Mostly I just want to take banks out of the equation. I don't like paying them (merchant fees, etc), or how they use my information to track me, sell my information to other people. I'm tired of being advertised to! So fucking tired of capitalism.

My favorite event is the cross country run and gun. An interesting history... Scandinavian soldiers used to ski around (with rifles) doing border patrol, and it evolved into a competitive event.
