I just read an article with leaked documents from DHS. They use the word "deployment" when talking about agents sent to Minneapolis. They're using the language of war because that's what it is. They definitely see it that way. Time for us to as well.

shit today sucked but that was like 50 agents tied up for an hour and some of them had to go back to restock up on tear gas and pepper balls which is even more precious time
It's worth reminding each other every couple days that every delay you create, every horrible opportunity you deter means someone gets home to their family, might even mean someones actual life is saved. All of it is worth it.

It occurs to me all the yelling at ICE in MPLS isn't merely funny. Getting made fun of like this is awful for morale. ICE is losing field officers faster than it can wave them through training, and a big part of it is how little of this these little weasels can take.
