Just out! Our peer-reviewed critique of the Cass Review has been published by BMC Medical Research Methodology. Please read and share. We show that the Cass Review is fatally flawed and should not be the basis for policy or practice in transgender healthcare.

Last night was the largest ever TDOV in Naarm. ~3000 people rallied, marched and disrupted for hours and we were only one of a dozen events across the continent. We are powerful when we work together 🏳️‍⚧️

This #TransDayofVisibility I am reflecting on how often trans people are placed in positions where they must either fight to be visible or are forced to be visible in systems that fail to protect them (tokenism). Trans people deserve autonomy over their visibility and to be protected when they are.

“Whatever allyship looks like for you, I want to see it. Be loud in your pride, and generous in your love so that the trans people in your world can see you, and the cis people around you can see what positive, beautiful allyship can look like.”

Excellent resource on being an Ally to trans folks

The resumption of Israel’s bombardment of Gaza, with the full backing of the US government, is an outrage. Israel’s ongoing assault will only deepen the devastation and suffering already inflicted on Gazans.

The Trump administration's blatant interference in Australian research is absolutely outrageous and dangerous.

Weaponising funding to force their regressive agenda onto our universities is appalling. These are institutions where critical thinking should thrive, not be suppressed.

You know things are bad when the New York Times, a paper that has spent the past three years consistently producing de-humanising articles about trans people and fuelling transphobia release a ‘oh this is actually bad for trans people’ piece.

‘Horrifying’ is my most used word of 2025.

The #CDC “ . . . has mandated that all scientific manuscripts produced by its researchers that are under review at a journal be withdrawn so that certain language relating to gender can be stripped from them.”

Trans people deserve so much better.

Hmm, so weird that so many of the countries with histories of violent colonialism and imperialism do not support Indigenous sovereignty. Almost like they never stopped being violent, genocidal colonialists or something.

Hi! I’m new here. My political views stem from the time I was seven years old and my dad brought home the live action ‘Animal Farm’ on VHS, thinking it was some kind of sequel to ‘Babe (Pig in the City)’.
