The fact that Trump is clearly TRYING to interfere in the midterms is being frantically spun as a reason why you should assume he’ll succeed and give up your vote without a fight.

If your vote did not have power, they wouldn’t try so frantically to get you to surrender it.

Another type is “cmon you idiot, who’s dumb enough to believe there will still be midterm elections” followed by “I never said not to vote. But neener neener Trump’s gonna kill you if you do” (in so many words)

You’ll see them getting more sophisticated. “I’m not saying don’t vote” then telling you it’s useless to vote or it’s not going to change anything.

It's gonna be hard to get excited, that's for sure. I wasn't looking for anything crazy, but damn… gimme something, anything, to get excited about.
