So interesting - over at the other place my feed is all vitriolic rants about trains not fitting in Metro Tunnel and Melbourne is a cesspit and JA must resign NOW over this scandal...
Here, I am seeing nice pictures of trains and reading interesting posts that teach me stuff.

Does anyone know anything about the history of the Patersons tower in Swan St, Richmond, Melbourne? I've searched online, and it's like it never existed. No mention of why and when it was demolished and replaced with nondescript singly-storey shops.
