Morning friends. I know Trump thinks he can flood the zone with unqualified hacks like Hegseth, Patel, Gabbard & others. But consider: he wanted Rick Scott to be Senate Majority Leader. Republican Senators said NOPE! He wanted Gaetz as AG. Senators said NOPE! Seems like a pattern emerging?

One thing to remember as Trump populates his administration with a cynic’s gallery of convicts, grotesques, and miscreants: Today’s toadies are tomorrow’s turncoats. Most of them will ultimately give him the shiv or vice versa. Trump’s pathologies conspire against loyalty.
