And here’s the M31 image straight from the Dwarf3. About 40 minutes of 15s exposures, straight from the Dwarf3

Just had a quick look at the Lunar Quick Map. No obvious mountains there. There's a crater near Adams that may be what you've caught. See the map here: bit.ly/43lGnZL

The crater just west of the silhouette is Adams, so what you've pointed to may be Adams D. Petavius is west of that with the rille in the crater floor.

I have an Esatto on my C9.25 with the Baader click-lock. I agree - it's great

Sounds good. Fingers crossed that it stays clear. Forecast isn’t great for Edinburgh, but forecasts can be wrong.

Thanks. The 2.9micron pixels of the mono camera with the TV 2.5x powermate seems to work well with the CFF135. It was windy, so I had to wait for those moments when the wind dropped to take the videos.

Thanks. It was really rushed as by the time I had the scope set up, the clouds were rolling in. I found a brief gap between the clouds to get this shot, then packed up.

I found the Plasma Formulary very useful when doing my PhD in Plasma Physics (gulp!) over 40 years ago...! Glad to see it's still available.
