What an amazing kickoff! Thank you to everyone who came out to support this campaign and help launch our work to fix RTD. Big thanks to our speakers, including @mdoughertyco.bsky.social and @chrisfnicholson.com, for your support!

Together we can build an RTD that works for everyone.

Big News: @atucomms.bsky.social Local 1001, the union representing thousands of the workers who keep our buses and trains moving, has endorsed our campaign for RTD!

Their support means a lot to me as a former labor organizer, and shows our unions believe in my visions of an RTD for everyone.

If only we had a super competent Latina who is term limited in the state senate and would do an amazing job replacing one of the no votes…

Jk…. Unless?

We need more housing so our grandparents can stay in our communities as they age!

"Today’s affordability crisis can be traced to a number of factors, including . . . the Great Recession, rising construction costs and restrictive zoning policies that make it hard to build large numbers of units."

T minus two years from Zohran either being the next AOC and having the Abundance libs endorsing him for gov while DSA un-endorses him or Brandon Johston and the next mayor be Curtis Silwa

This app man. I need bluesky posters to stop being HOA presidents.

If you want regular people to agree with you, do not criticize the way they are agreeing with you because it is insufficiently aligned with the "proper" language.

This app is fun because it's like opening a 2020 time capsule

Thanks to the @wmata.com for getting me where I needed to go this weekend as part of this rush!

A model transit agency, they help create a model of good communication, great customer experience, and solid leadership!

This is not a serious candidate or campaign.

I'm not sure what an "Abundance Bro" is, but just in case you think it's us at @yimbydenver.bsky.social we supported the measure to ban new gas stations.

David is getting very close to "making up a guy to get mad at"

We lost by 1.5%

We don’t need fancy words, we need less fancy, substack-writing, “think tank” influencers punching left and parroting bad messaging.

We must adopt simpler language and focus on core issues, not blocking antitrust for your donors scared of Lina Khan

IMO Deep has Denver/Capitol tunnel vision here. Reps. are not the only options; and some are not likely candidates.

This could be a good seat to pick up a young person who represents the community senator rather than simply subbing in a generic candidate, especially someone like Jillarare.

Happy Valentine’s Day my love!

Are you a person who thinks rent is too high? Are you in Denver? Are you free on the 20th of February?

Well do I have the event for you: Join us at a casual chance to chat with other folks who are mostly, but not entirely, interested in housing on Thursday, February 20th at Spangalang Brewery!

Hard to not be a bit of an accelerationist.

"HB25-1169 was inspired by the “Yes In God’s Backyard” movement, or YIGBY. Think of it like a religious counterweight to NIMBYism"

You got that right. We at @yimbydenver.bsky.social are bringing in Jesus and the 12 to take on Kevin Broomer's anti-housing crusade.

Terrible idea.

We should not give in a single inch unless they are trading something (like adoption of same day registration, no-excuse mail in, and dropboxes in exchange).

This is a terrible "centrist" opinion. Our offer for reform should be "Colorado system, take it or leave it."

I echo GDT’s points about this meeting.

Limiting the public’s ability to speak while allowing the GM/CEO to speak with no pushback is how we got to this point in the first place.

I encourage our RTD board members to reconsider these goals to more aligned with what voters indicated they want.
