Back in the early nineties Auckland had a major power outage in the CBD and there were calls to regulate the electricity sector more and build more generating capacity but no government has had the balls to actually front up with real action in 30 years.

Why do they insist on calling these people "the most powerful man in..."? They are not "most powerful" they are a bunch of lying idiots.

Lets hope no more wise men are on their way from the east or they will be shot down too

Same is true for scientific research in NZ, lousy pay, no job security, and now declining respect from the public
