why don’t you explain to me how you think weather prediction works? people are quick to criticize the rare occurrences that forecasts are wrong. it’s absolutely amazing we have the ability to forecast the weather with the level of accuracy we have today.

shapiro had a huge face turn this year, especially with the gate 14 interview. i think he is starting to understand the toronto market better. i hope the days of sitting vlad on victoria day are long behind us and never to return

for the millionth time, they way that DOPS handles the leafs would be fine, if they applied the same standard to the rest of the league. They are too lenient on everyone else, not necessarily too harsh on toronto.

this is on purpose. they don’t want it to be cheaper than what a daily commuter would use, because they would lose needed revenue. the number of power-riders taking over 40 trips per month is small.

it’s simple - the TTC is underfunded. They rely heavily on fare revenue to sustain operations. Unlike car infrastructure, they don’t get sufficient subsidies to keep up operations. It’s like if every road and highway required tolls.
