PP’s post today is our proof that the Canadian electorate was correct in choosing Carney as the better PM to deal with the Trump threat to our country.

U of Michigan doesn’t just need to look outside their program to find an appropriate replacement for former Head Coach Moore. I suggest looking outside of the game of college football.

Is Trump sitting under a heating lamp, today? He looks like a piece of Kentucky Fried Chicken.

On the passing of Colleen Jones: I am a fan of CBC and Curling because of her. It didn’t matter what your political affiliation was, your geography, your religion- you cannot help but love Colleen.

In my opinion, the three most boring plays in football:
Players walking off the field while the final 35 seconds run off the clock.
The fair catch.
Second down in American football.

CFL and Usports had 6 playoff games yesterday in which 5 of them were decided by a total of 12 points. The NCAA game between Indiana and Penn State was the 6th most exciting finish on the continent. Why would the CFL want to mess with the rules of Canadian football?

Note to politicians: if you are supporting your legislation with the notwithstanding clause-your legislation sucks.

To all Yankee fans who booed the Canadian National Anthem: the Jays play tonight, so you can tune in and boo…from your living room.

Pay attention to Neil Young. His music was instrumental in bringing together a generation in the 1960’s. He knows the stakes and how to respond.

As much as I enjoy watching sports, I have to give a shout out to the Arts. Unlike sports, everyone can leave a concert, play, art museum, etc. and feel like their team has won.

Plus We have cooperation that We found on our own.
We have watched you for generations as you fail us, so please step aside and let us make Our own world and We promise we will build it right…and then…We will let you in.

We want to love Mohamed, Ming, Javier, Marta because We never saw our differences until you pointed it out…again and again and again.
We want to value frogs, trees, smiles not your dollar signs.

And we know that we can do it on our own because we have the brains, the strength, the passion.

Demand our own world
We reject the promises of yours.
We demand:
Education not your indoctrination.
Peace but you give violence necessary to achieve peace you say.
To play with each other not segregation.

Here in Canada, I was watching a football game that had a commercial advertising American blueberries to
Canadians. My response: you may as well advertise it Vietnam, because we Canadians don’t want your f**king blueberries.

I am watching the Donald Trump press conference, wondering if there has ever been a world leader who has been as inarticulate as he is. Examples are welcomed.
