The specific itemis this guy. I already have two of em. I got em used off Facebook marketplace a few years ago for even cheaper than this one... but they were light on shelves. I'd LOVE to get more shelves just to make them a little denser.

I... don't think my older ones are Prepac brand, though.

They are very SLIGHTLY fancy. All square cuts, but the bottoms are notched to allow the shelves to sit neatly on their pegs. I'm also wondering if the width is standard, or something exotic. This is just flatpack stuff with veneers, but it'd be nice if it matched, you know?

That leaves me with MORE questions to ask.
1) does the shuttered factory in British Columbia have leftover stock?
2) They're owned by a private equity firm. That firm has an email address, so maybe I can ask THEM for shelves.
3) does anyone else actually make this stuff to the same spec/dimensions

I also asked if Prepact had external suppliers that I could buy from. I think that's a fair question, since we're on a global supply chain.

1) fair enough, I got it off facebook marketplace. But can I get a list of authorized resellers? There isn't one on the website! Maybe they have some dead stock they can sell to me.

2) Why no replacement sales? Is it a question of scale? Or does the company only do manufacture-on-demand? -->

The manufacturer, Prepact (prepactmfg.com) won't issue me replacements, either. It's a third party sale, so my item isn't covered under their warranty since I didn't buy via an authorized reseller. Also, they won't sell me replacements either.

Okay, this is getting interesting.

First of all, the seller hasn't found the lost shelves yet. The frame that they sold me is in great shape, and I am pretty sure I can just cut shelves for it (I am nervous about this, I'm a lousy craftsman) if I need to. Caveat emptor, and all that. But...

found a jumbo media shelf (the big prepact kind that go for $250) for $80 on facebook marketplace! new in box!!

i get it home, and the only thing missing... are the 34 shelves. ahahaha, sasuga facebook marketplace.

I think I'll be made whole one way or another, but sheeeeeesh 😆

i'm at the point where I'm trying to rearrange my home video shelves to squeeze out a little more capacity. what if I just need MORE shelves for my existing cabinets? the holes in the sides are drilled, I have pegs to rest on... do I just have them milled somewhere...??

If “I have no enemies” has become a meme and people remember it, then maybe people will understand what I’m really trying to say through the story, which is that humans are immature, but we can mature. To become mature is to become kind. This is the foundation of what I’m trying to say, but it really has to be much shorter for people to remember. But it does give me hope that people remember these short phrases as memes. Then, one day, it will click in their mind what I was trying to really say in the first place.

i have warm memories of seeing them at schaefer stadium in the 80s, 6 bucks a ticket, sit wherever you want. i am still astounded that they are now considered an all-time great team, right in the conversation with the steelers, cowboys, etc.
