Bald Yorkshireman. Bradford City and Yorkshire CCC
The legendary Mike Smith sadly passed away earlier this year aged 79.

Here he is promoting his sale for those who would benefit from a Wilton Carpet. 65% off.

Mike had awesome hair.

We need to emulate what the West Indies has just achieved in New Zealand? No, probably not.

Have woken up and the West Indies has saved the Test Match. Greaves's 202 has enabled the team to reach 457 for 6. The second highest score in the 4th innings ever after the famous timeless test in 1939 in Durban.

I think we need this gentleman to add a bit of class to proceedings

Watching clips on here is all I can stand. I couldn’t bear watching the hate fest with Bruce allowing the right wing parties and pundits to butt in.

Same to you my dear fellow. Just keep clear of Brian Talbot's desert island!

Milk is Joe's favourite drink. Players gulping it down at the end of the League Cup Final.

The Milk Marketing Board sponsored the League Cup didnt they?

And Not the Nine O'clock News. Those of us of a certain age will appreciate you & Joe bringing Pam Stephenson back into our consciousness.

Are you? Blimey.

'Tis the time for numerous sinister mannequins to be brought out in cafes and shops certainly.

He thinks he is a wit, but only 50% correct.

I doubt he'd have been able to catch Chubby Brown on the telly mind...maybe he was a support act to the Cure.

Brasford City 2 Tottenham 2 on Jan 3rd 1970.

This is Jimmy Greaves opening the scoring for Spurs. By 11 mins in Roger Morgan had added a second for the visitors.

City fought back to level the scores by hslf time through a Mike England OG and a goal from veteran midfielder Bruce Stowell.

Graham was a truly great player in a relatively poorly performing team for the most part. He starred in a day night match without a pink ball or floodlights in Pakistan.

Ah the Genoa Cricket & Football Club. Are they going to provide a couple of solid middle order batters we can use in the Ashes?
November 28, 2025 at 8:05 AM
Well that's news ( and I didnt think I'd say that in the same sentence as the T&A.)

Blimey.

'And if that doesn't make him feel a whole lot better, then he's a very strange young man, as well as a brilliant one'. John Arlott after he struck his first ball in a test match to the boundary against Pakistan in 1978.

David scored 3269 of those runs against Australia.
