I'd add to that too: if Scotland successfully vote for independence, I have a mostly unsubstantiated theory that it will end the British monarchy. There's been no King of England position for 300 years. No succession = no King.
Also don't interpret this as some harkening back 'we should have an English king' nonsense, I just want to communicate that aristocrats are an oppressor class who exist entirely beyond the confines and culture of any state, the state is property to them

Thanks, James, I feel that SNP party leaders are aware of the futility of SNP 1&2 but like the optics of having the only major Indy party in Holyrood.
They enjoy that they are identified as the Scottish independence party and push the failed narrative to keep them in pole position

If only! We"ll be stuck with him as well-he wants rid of the Scottish Parliament. Even now our British (so called voluntary) Union won't 'allow' us a referendum to even choose. Polls in favour of independence in Scotland atm, with a particularly high quota of our young people wishes. We're doomed!

I've tried to do some research and believe that my Dundee/NE
votes will be more effective if I vote SNP 1 in this fairly safe SNP seat.
NE is different.
I do NOT want to be represented, as I am currently, by 2 labour and 2 tories.
Can't bear the thought of reform.
So it's list vote to ScotGreens..

My diagnosis since around 2021 has been that Britain simply *cannot* change, no matter what happens. Its ruling class will never tolerate it. They will never admit what they’ve done, they’ll kill anyone who talks about it and will always choose to sink the whole island below the sea, if pushed.
