I’ve spent my whole life watching friends and family fumble through one failed relationship after the other. I think if I was ever in a relationship, I could learn from their mistakes and actually make it last after watching these idiots try for years.

Today is truly one of the only days of the year I hate my job. This is my 20th black Friday, working in retail. I’m exhausted my entire body aches and tomorrow I have to sit in the car for nine hours while we drive home for my grandfathers funeral. I’m so tired.

I lost my Grandpa yesterday. My heart is so broken & I don’t know how much more I can take. It’s hitting me so much harder because he was my last Grandparent. So my parents are now the Grandparents & it’s too hard to comprehend that. I’m gonna miss him! 😭

I really want to go back to Chicago and take an actual picture here. There was still construction when I went for the first time so this is the best I got. Maybe one day I’ll go back. This was definitely cool seeing the whole thing without people everywhere though.

I need Pokemon Legends to hurry up and drop. I need a distraction. Life has been so so lately. I just found out that they are putting my grandfather in Hospice Care. Doctor wouldn’t say how much time he has left. He lives 9 hours away and I won’t be able to see him anytime soon.

Today is my nephew’s 13th birthday. This is the last time I saw him. This was back in June. I haven’t seen any of my nieces or nephews since then. My heart hurts everyday more and more. I hope he had an amazing day today. I at least got to talk to him on the phone. I miss them all so much.

Day one of ACL in Austin was a success! As an added bonus to the day we got a surprise visit from the Queen Hilary Duff!!! Other wonderful acts included spilltab, Finneas and Ashe as The Favors and Hozier! What a great day. So excited for Sabrina Carpenter tomorrow!
